In perfect but crazy timing, I met Telly in Nebraska, where I was born and raised and he was living for a few years coming from Fresno California.  He was set to move back soon, but we were falling hard and fast and after 6 months of dating, I moved back to Fresno with him.  I have to say, moving half way across the country with someone I was only dating for 6 months might be the craziest thing I’ve done, but the idea was so exciting and scary, but so the deep me and pulled me hard and lit me up…a-n-d I was in love with this guy!  I’ve always been adventurous, outdoorsy, and loved animals and nature and Telly’s matching but stronger personality really  sparked that part of me. To date, moving to California has been the best decision of my life thus far!  

Since moving here, there hasn’t been many weekends that we haven’t gone on an adventure exploring somewhere and most within a tank of gas roundtrip.  Preferably we take our three pups with us, but sometimes they can’t go where we’re going and have to be left behind.  One day we were talking about all the things we do and all relatively inexpensive and such amazing times, then Telly suggested we share our adventures with the world and I’ve always wanted to start a blog so recently I decided to take the plunge and here we are, now sharing with you our explorations of the hidden gems around to show how easy it really is to get up and go somewhere.
